It’s 2010 and nobody seems to know how they’re going to pronounce what year it is.

We went from saying “nineteen ninety nine” to “two thousand nine” and now we’re forced to decide between “two thousand ten” and “twenty ten.” My vote is for “twenty ten.” After all, I wasn’t born in “one thousand nine hundred seventy six.” I was born in “nineteen seventy six.”
